Warmbad-Villach
Every day 40 million litres of water gush up from the centre of the earth at a temperature of 29.5C filling the thermal baths and therapy pools at Warmbad-Villach.
Incidentally, the owners are again investing heavily and renovating the pool and leisure centre from 2010 to 2012.
A unique feature of the Villach spa resort is Austria’s only thermal spring pool. It was built immediately above a rock where the thermal water reaches the surface. It’s a wonderful feeling when big bubbles of warm, soothing water come up between the smooth pebbles at the bottom of the swimming pool.
